The project began in 2015 as a collaborative effort with the below individuals and organizations, all of whom were concerned with the lack of knowledge of the impacts of Family Court decisions on immigrants.
Since that time, we have had multiple trainings with lawyers and judges across New York State. Many judges, advocates and attorneys have utilized the materials in their everyday practice.
In 2023 we began the process of updating the materials, resulting in this website.
