Admissibility refers to:
- Who can enter the U.S. from another country.
and
- Who can remain in the U.S.
Deportability refers to:
- Who can be removed from the U.S.
- It may affect:
- Individuals who were previously granted immigration status in the U.S.
- Individuals who currently have lawful immigration status in the U.S.
